Fins and Family Fishing's Orange Beach inshore fishing charters feature fishing in calm, protected waters such as bays, bayous, coves, and passes. Inshore fishing charters feature an exciting light tackle approach to fishing for awesome saltwater fish species such as Redfish, Black Snapper, Speckled Trout, Pompano, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, White Trout, Black Drum, and more. Orange Beach inshore fishing charters offer the opportunity to fish a variety of fishing techniques which vary based on the time of year, number of anglers aboard, and the overall skill level of our guests. We often fish styles such as casting live shrimp or jigs under popping floats, drifting live and dead baits across the bottom, casting artificial lures and plugs, and free lining live baits. We use these techniques to fish over open water reefs, along salt marsh grasses, near bridges and passes, on edges of sand bars and channels, near docks, and more. Live shrimp is one of our favorite inshore bait choice but we will fish finger mullet, Pogies, ghost shrimp, and fiddler crabs if the fish prefer them.

Fins and Family Fishing's Orange Beach inshore fishing charters are great for both experienced and novice anglers alike. Our Orange Beach and Gulf Shores inshore fishing charters feature our versatile 25 foot 2019 Sea Hunt BX25BR. She is loaded with features which include ample padded seating for six, front and rear casting decks, twin 10 foot Power Poles, and state of the art trolling motor. She has a hard top for shade on those hot summer days. She is powered by a Yamaha 300 on a jack plate and she will comfortably take us to our favorite fishing spots of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.

Orange Beach inshore fishing charters in late spring, summer and fall often consists of fishing for Black Snapper, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, White Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum near the jetties at Perdido Pass, in Cotton Bayou, Wolf Bay, Arnica Bay, and even the Intracoastal Waterway in Alabama and Florida. Early Spring and winter Orange Beach inshore fishing charters often focus on areas near Perdido Pass pursuing Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, and Pompano. Winter also takes us to the Intracoastal Waterway and up tidal rivers pursuing Speckled Trout, Reds, and Sheepshead.

Fins and Family Fishing's nearshore fishing charters focus on fishing within three miles of the beach. Our primary nearshore fishing style is trolling but we also enjoy casting live baits or jigs, drifting live and dead baits, light tackle bottom fishing, and casting artificial lures and plugs. We use these techniques to fish over reefs and wrecks, near bridges and passes, along jetties, and in open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The techniques we recommend for each group varies based on the time of year, number of anglers aboard, and the overall skill level of our guests. Active styles such as casting and jigging are best for small groups while trolling and bottom fishing is preferred with larger groups. When trolling nearshore we cruise up to three miles from shore pulling spoons and lures behind the boat for awesome saltwater species such as Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bonita, and more. When we get a strike and the rod bounces, the adrenaline starts pumping, and the fun begins. Near shore fishing charters are good for most skill levels and are a great way to introduce novice teens and adults to a conservative offshore saltwater fishing experience.

Our offshore fishing charters feature exciting trolling and bottom fishing action in the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you have been offshore before or have a family of first time saltwater anglers, we have an offshore fishing charter for you! Our State Waters Offshore Fishing Charters feature exciting saltwater fishing in State of Alabama and Florida waters which extend up to nine nautical miles offshore.  State offshore fishing charters are great for families and feature exciting species such as Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, and occasionally sharks without having to go too far offshore.
